Folding Instruction for a Comet RS30 / RS 35

This is just an example. You have to follow the instruction of the vendor of your product.

1. The parachute should be at the air for at least 24 hours at appx. 65% humidity
2. At this model, there are helps. use a cord to fix them. (Never forgot to take it away before final foldin!!!)
3. There should be 8 parts at each side. The one with the stamp on it must be up and first.
4.

Important cord control. Outer cord (Picture) take them and control, they must be free and the two lowest at the paraglider. Inner two lines (left and right of the red middle cord) must also be free and the two top at the parachute's base.

5. Put the right side on top of it as seen in the picture (S-folding)
6. Put the left side in the same S-Folding also on top. This is a special folding only for Comet RS and does have a break effect.
7. Do all cords together as shown and fix with rubbers.
8. The whole parachute must now be folded in other s-Foldings as described.
9.

Turn it over, open up the base of the parachute. This is also a Comet specialty, the speed up to compensate for the uppder described break folding.

Put all cords on top.

10.

Close the inner container and put the whole package into the outer container.

Control correct functioning at least twice.
