Althougth ofthen described as an easy Island, on la Palma the best conditions to fly are during lee-phases. To interprete the meteo conditions is therefore far away from easy. To fly secure on the island, you may book the ParaGuide Service and please read the information flyer which is available in the office of palmaclub before any take off. (Or download it here.)
La Palma is a UNESCO reserve. Some regions are under strict protection. Please do not breach any take off and flying rules! On the East Side a lot of territory is in the CTR of SPC. Flying in the CTR is illegal and subject to very high penalties!

There is a professional ParaGuide Service available, supporting you during your holidays on this beatiful island! The local Guides, both Paragliding Instructors, are able to Guide you in French, German, Italian, Spanish or English.

My name is Roger. I am Swiss- GErman and Austrian Paragliding Instructor and am living since 2005 most of the time on la Palma. My first flight on this beatiful island was back in 1994.
